Movable lamellas can only be fixed in the end bearings at the external front of houses. The sliding elements sometimes detached from the raster during strong winds and moved towards the opposing side of the end stop. An additional brake or bearing safety had to be developed.  It became clear very quickly, that iglidur® J plain bearings perfectly fit this application: They guarantee a firm position of the grip with the lowest dimensions– the collar of the bearing serves as a spacer. iglidur® J collar bearings have been selected to take up and guide the brake levers. This avoids rubbing of the brake levers against each other and towards the base support, and to guarantee its solid guiding on the electro galvanized bolt. They are in addition lubrication- and maintenance-free. Lubrication and maintenance-free
