Our lead screw nut made of the high-performance polymer iglidur® J is the all-rounder. The material can be used at almost all speeds and is characterised by a high degree of efficiency. Other advantages include:
 
► Low coefficient of friction - low wear rates
► Application range up to +90°C upper long-term application temperature
► Permissible permanent surface pressure in the threads 0 - 4.0 MPa

All of our lead screw nuts are made from the wear-resistant iglidur® high-performance polymers.
There are seven different standard materials available for different purposes: iglidur J - high efficiency at all speeds, iglidur J350 - for temperatures up to +150°C, iglidur A180 - FDA-compliant for the food and pharmaceutical industry, iglidur E7 - for high speeds with low loads, iglidur R - anti-oscillation and anti-vibration, iglidur J200 - the best counter partner for aluminium and iglidur W300 - for heavy-duty applications. 

This gives you the following advantages:

The base material is additionally reinforced with technical fibres or fillers. The solid lubricants are microscopic particles, embedded in millions of tiny chambers of the material. This is adequate to sufficiently lubricate the immediate surrounding area and to reduce the friction of the system. These additives strengthen our lead screw nuts decisively for wear resistance.
