iglidur® M210 | Thick-walled for medium loads
iglidur M210 was specially developed for the application in the medium load range with pivoting loads. Special attention was paid during development to ensure the material can be used for injection-moulded thick-walled bearings. Therefore iglidur M210 is well-suited for applications in which thick-walled bearings are used or replaced, which are as robust as possible.

Tolerances and measuring system
The installation dimensions and tolerances of the iglidur® plain bearings depend on the material and wall thickness. For each material, the moisture absorption and the thermal expansion are decisive factors. Plain bearings with low moisture absorption can be installed with a smaller bearing clearance. The rule for wall thickness: the thicker the wall of the bearings, the larger the clearances must be.
Testmethoden

Assembly
iglidur® bearings are press-fit bushings. The inner diameter is only adjusted to the appropriate tolerance after pressing into the housing hole. The press-fit excess dimension can be up to 2% of the inner diameter. This ensures the secure press-fitting of the bearings. Axial or radial movements in the housing are thus reliably avoided.
