igubal® pillow block bearings
igubal® pillow block bearings are very easy-to-install bearing units which are able to compensate alignment errors and prevent edge pressure.
The housing is made of igumid FC180, detectable and FDA-compliant materials for food applications.
Here, the spherical ball is made from iglidur® FC material, which is known for its low moisture absorption, low coefficient of friction during dry running and an extremely low tendency to stick-slip. This is especially important for low loads and very slow movements.

Application areas
Since igubal® pillow block bearings are also suitable for maintenance-free dry running, they are particularly suitable for applications in which the installation location is difficult to access, is in a damp or wet environment or has special hygiene requirements. As a result, igubal® pillow block bearings are used in wash-brush controls, in facade sunshade systems, in materials handling technology and in bakery equipment.
Installation
igubal® pillow block bearings are designed for mounting with two bolts. Exact alignment of the bearing housing is not necessary since the spherical bearing automatically compensates for alignment errors. Special adjusting rings can be used to fix the shaft.
