In this application, a robot places filled ampoules into a box on a pallet. Previously, messy-looking, freely hanging electrical and pneumatic cables were strained by the high dynamics involved. triflex® R cable carriers bundled these together and today the plant looks both clean and organized. The cable carrier’s enclosed exterior contour provides protection and, because of its round design; it glides around the contour of the robot.Low wear solution
The robot operates in a cleanroom, air-conditioned environment. It is ideal for such conditions as it is made from an extremely low wear, maintenance- and lubrication-free polymer material developed by igus®.
