Resistant against chips
This lathe is used to machine wooden parts used for stairs railings, for example. This machining results in lost of wood chips and dust, of course, which would stick to lubricants. For this reason, the lubricant-free plain bearings made of iglidur® Q were used instead. This has saved costs and maintenance work. The required drive power of the motor remains the same.
